We believe that by choosing 'slowhop' places, you're not only having a great time but also genuinely supporting local communities, preserving cultural heritage, and the natural environment.

Ola Klonowska-Szałek

Founding mother and Slowhop's first copywriter. She can settle any internet storm with a single paragraph. The first and only person in the Team to have written her own novel!

Marcin Szałek

Founding father. An (as yet) uncrowned master of Excel, a serial startup founder, and a huge permaculture enthusiast. He enjoys skinny dipping and brain teasers.

Paweł Kalisz

Programmer and solutions architect. Before Slowhop, he made sure planes didn't fall out of the sky. His favorite dessert is a pork schnitzel. He’s into triathlons.

Ewelina Dusza

Manages finance and HR. Loves changing meridians. Collects cookbooks from fictional worlds. You’ll likely find her at a music festival or a volleyball match.

Beata Janicka

When people say something is impossible, we send Beata. She can handle any bottleneck and find a way through any problem.

Marcin Brudnicki

King of dad jokes. Responsible for a loooot of code at Slowhop. Loves lightening the mood and is obsessed with 3D printers.

Kasia Słowik

Head of Product. One of those few people in the world who can recognize colors by hex code. We’re pretty sure she’s related to Da Vinci.

Maja Cieślak

A project manager who maintains order even in the greatest chaos. A master of words, cool collaborations, and genuine relationships. She’d win the trust of both the Pope and a rapper.

Olga Hilińska

A "business labrador." She could be driving international cooperation at the UN, but she brings her talents to Slowhop instead.

Domi Zubiel-Wyrzykowska

Knows how to juggle words so they fall into a harmonious order. In her spare time, she creates handcrafted jewelry. She could write a bible for foodies.

Paweł Kobylak

Mostly present digitally, he looks after Slowhop’s infrastructure. In his free time, he tinkers with how "things" work ;)

Paulina Nowicka

Tests Slowhop code by day, and runs her own Slowhop spot in the Jizera Mountains by night. After hours, she organizes pottery workshops in a Wrocław studio.

Ewelina Kowalczyk

Marketing pro who handles contacts and collaborations with the ease of a seasoned entertainer. She runs a foster home for animals and polishes her binoculars for birdwatching walks.

What you need to know? We are not the owners of all these agritourisms and holiday homes. Think of us more like pearl divers. Our job is to carefully select the prettiest, slow-travel spots and publish their profiles.

It’s up to our Hosts to create the place, price their offers, and ensure every word on Slowhop is true—plus, of course, to make sure their Guests feel right at home. In short: on Slowhop, you’ll find carefully curated, top-tier slow accommodation, and we, as your booking platform, will guide you through the reservation, payment, and review process.

Natalia Karpińska

She sifts the pearls through the sieve of our criteria, helps Hosts get ready to launch in the catalogue, and writes copy. Her dream is to live in the English countryside, in a stone cottage full of books and art.

Natalia Kuźma

Automation specialist. Makes sure things just work. Sailing sends her endorphins through the roof, and she spends her free afternoons doing improv.

Dominik Łyczko

Front-end developer who handles the site's visual vision and user interactions. Runs for pleasure and knows all the latest in the construction industry.

Ola Szafranko

Finance Manager. Can tame numbers like an old snake charmer. Collects litter found along the way and spends her after-work hours saving tons of unwanted food.

Michał Wolny

A developer who helps us deliver new features twice as fast. In his spare time, he swaps the keyboard for a motorcycle or a volunteer firefighter uniform.

A programmer who loves the outdoors. Claims that the greatest pleasure in life is a cup of coffee while hiking.

Zosia Dymek

Manages ads and is learning analytics. Lives in an old German schoolhouse in the countryside. When not scrolling through numbers, she wanders the mountains, tracks beavers, and reads reportage.

Mateusz Pawlak

High-performance programmer. Calls himself a "one-man band." Won medals at the Polish Rowing Championships (not to be confused with canoeing).

Julia Galewska

The onboarding human. She’ll guide you step-by-step through the challenges of setting up your profile. Along the way, she might just run up a mountain, knit a sweater, or craft a handmade dripper and cup set for her favourite filter coffee. You can never have too many hobbies.

Ania Tomczyk

She writes in Polish. She loves train rides and pitching tents, and she can pack her entire family into a single suitcase. She has a bit too many pets and even more books (some of which she translated herself).

Kasia Kaszubska

Founder of the MUUS bakery-cafe, now a "slowhop-style" copywriter, content creator, and the good soul behind our socials.
