Explore the world with
tenderness
We have the most beautiful agritourism, guesthouses, tiny boutique hotels, and holiday homes. We are creating a community of Hosts and Guests who care about more than just a place to stay. We believe that by choosing 'slowhop' places, you're not only having a great time but also genuinely supporting local communities, preserving cultural heritage, and the natural environment.
What’s in it for you? You save time—no need to double-check the place, we’ve already done that for you. Bonus? Apparently, reading our descriptions is pure joy. We believe that in life, we dedicate far too little time to pleasures, so we warmly invite you to make use of our resources.
Ola Klonowska-Szałek
The founding mother and first-ever copywriter of Slowhop. She can calm any storm on the internet with just one paragraph. The first and only team member to have written her own crime novel!
Marcin Szałek
The founding father. An (as yet) uncrowned Excel master, serial startup founder, and a passionate advocate of permaculture. A fan of skinny dipping and brainteasers.
Paweł Kalisz
Developer and solutions architect. Before Slowhop, he made sure planes stayed in the sky. His favorite dessert? A pork chop. Also, he’s got triathlon skills.
What is important to
us?
Responsibility
We show that tourism doesn’t have to be harmful. We strive to inspire you with travel ideas that help reduce the strain on natural and cultural resources.
People
It’s all about the people. With slow travel, you get to connect directly with the Hosts and owners of each place you stay.
Authenticity
Most of our destinations are in the countryside, run by people just like you. No sugarcoating—we tell it like it is. So you can pick your travel destination with awareness
Experiences
Slow travel is about slowing down the pace of your journey, collecting impressions, memories, and experiences, not just points on a map. We want you to bring back more from your trip than just a few photos on your phone.
Ewelina Dusza
She connects the dots between finances and HR. Loves crossing meridians. Collects cookbooks from fictional worlds. You can win her over with a music festival or a volleyball match.
Olga Hilińska
A business-loving labrador in human form. She could be driving international collaborations at the UN, but she channels her talents into Slowhop instead.
Agnieszka Widera
The chief guardian of Slowhop’s quality. Addicted to sunshine, sea breezes, flea markets, and travel. Absolutely obsessed with ceramics.
Adam Nowacki
When talents were being handed out, Adam clearly got more than his fair share. He’s a developer, photographer, athlete, and upholsterer all in one.
Maja Zubiel
Maja handles influencer marketing, TikTok, and manages big projects. She loves creating neat spreadsheets in Excel.
Kasia Słowik
One of the handful of people in the world who can recognize colors by their hexadecimal code. We’re convinced she’s related to Da Vinci.
Domi Zubiel-Wyrzykowska
She has a knack for juggling words, arranging them into a pleasant, harmonious flow. In her free time, she creates her own jewelry. She could easily write a bible for foodies.
Paweł Kobylak
Taking care of the infrastructure at Slowhop. As a hobby, he’s into diving deep into how "things" work.
Maja Cieślak
The Host’s guardian, a master of words, great collaborations, and genuine relationships. She could earn the trust of both the Pope and Snoop Dog.
What you need to know? We are not the owners of all these agritourisms and holiday homes. Think of us more like pearl divers. Our job is to carefully select the prettiest, slow-travel spots and publish their profiles.
It’s up to our Hosts to create the place, price their offers, and ensure every word on Slowhop is true—plus, of course, to make sure their Guests feel right at home. In short: on Slowhop, you’ll find carefully curated, top-tier slow accommodation, and we, as your booking platform, will guide you through the reservation, payment, and review process.
Natalia Karpińska
She writes and edits gigabytes of text. She loves when commas are in their right place. She says her wildest adventures on Slowhop involve reading on a lounge chair.
Ola Filipiak
A kind soul who introduces our Hosts to the secrets of the Slowhop world. Olek’s dog mom. A crossword puzzle master.
Ewelina Kowalczyk
The marketing expert who builds connections and forms partnerships with the ease of an experienced performer. Mom to Sabinka the pug and Antek the cat.
Dominik Łyczko
A front-end developer, managing the graphic visions of our website and user interactions. He runs for pleasure and knows all the latest trends in construction.
Zosia Dymek
The creative mind behind our social media. She lives in a former German school in the countryside, and when she's not scrolling, she wanders the mountains and tracks beavers.
Łukasz Wiewiórowski
Łukasz is the one brainstorming the direction in which Slowhop could grow. In his private time, he’s immersed in dance and tantra.
Ana Kaciun
Ana handles the entire Lithuanian side of Slowhop and also provides graphic design support. She’s the one who compiles the Conscious Traveler's Guide and the Good Actions Report!
Natalia Kuźma
Natalia creates the profiles for our international hidden gems. Sailing unleashes a flood of endorphins in her, and she spends her free afternoons improvising.
Paulina Nowicka
She tests Slowhop’s codes by day, and runs her own Slowhop in the Izers by night. After hours, she organizes ceramic workshops at a studio in Wrocław.
Mateusz Pawlak
A top-tier programmer. He calls himself a "one-man band." He’s won medals at the Polish championships in rowing (not to be confused with kayaking).
Ola Szafranko
Finance Manager. He tames numbers like an old snake charmer. He collects randomly found trash and, after work, saves tons of unwanted food.
Kasia Barwicka
An expert in all things “eco.” She prefers practical solutions over lofty theories. She loves hitchhiking, dark humor, and her three adopted rabbits.
Wiktoria Kerlin
A wizard with numbers, sales, and audits. She relaxes at the modern art museum, and the sight of design by Marimekko or Poulsen makes her weak in the knees.
Beata Janicka
When people say certain things can’t be done, we send Beata. She can handle any bottleneck or hole in the system.
Mirka Curova
Mirka manages Slowhop's international profiles. She’s a yoga instructor and does such incredible kobido facials that you leave feeling as soft as clay.
Przemek Padoł
A programmer who loves the outdoors. He claims the greatest pleasure in life is a coffee while hiking. In 2023, he spent 91,957 minutes listening to music.
