When will I receive a response to my request?

We’ll get back to you within 7 working days. We carefully analyze every submission, so we need a moment to get to know your place.

How long does it take to publish a new offer?

Once your application is accepted and the profile is polished, your offer can go live in just a few days. It all depends on how quickly you complete your profile.

What if I don’t have photos?

Good photos are the key to success on Slowhop. If you don’t have any, we can recommend professional photographers who understand our vibe and will help you create a stunning listing.

I’m still building my place, can I apply now?

Please apply once your place is ready to welcome the first guests. To create a professional listing, we need final photos of the interiors and surroundings, so it’s best to contact us when you’re ready.

Can I direct my own guests to book through Slowhop?

Yes! We’ll provide a special link for your website or social media. For bookings made through this link, we charge only a 2% commission, and you get all the convenience of our payment system and calendar.

Is the annual fee per accommodation?

The fee applies to a single listing. If you have several cabins on one plot, you only pay once. However, if you run places in different locations (on separate plots), a separate listing and fee are required for each.

Is exclusivity required?

No, but we reward it. By choosing the "Only on Slowhop" variant, you benefit from a lower commission in exchange for handling online bookings exclusively through our portal and your own channels. It’s a flexible option – we’ll decide on the collaboration model together, and you can change it at any time.

How do we verify Guest identity?

We care about the community's safety, so every Guest must have a verified account. Additionally, you have access to reviews from other Hosts about a given person.

How many listings can I add?

You can add as many listings as unique places you manage. Remember that each of them must meet our quality criteria and align with the community's values.

How do payments work?

Guests pay a prepayment (you set the amount yourself), which we transfer to your account three times a week. The remaining amount is settled by the Guests directly with you, according to rules you define.

Which systems can I integrate with?

Currently, we offer integration via iCal with all systems that support iCal (most Channel Managers, as well as Airbnb and Booking directly), and a direct integration with the Roomadmin system. We are constantly working on implementing more channel managers to make managing your calendar even easier.

What happens in case of a cancellation?

You set the cancellation policy yourself in your profile. Our system ensures that the refund or settlement process is clear for both you and the Guest.

How do we invoice?

We issue and send invoices for a given month by the 15th day of the following month. There are two settlement models: clearing invoices are paid automatically from previously collected prepayments, while those for the annual fee or booking changes are settled via bank transfer. You will receive the first subscription invoice one month after the profile is published, and subsequent ones will appear annually on the same date.

How do we protect Hosts?

We ensure that Slowhop is visited by conscious people. We verify Guest accounts, and you have access to reviews from other Hosts about them. Additionally, our prepayment system guarantees that a booking is binding and financially secured.
