10 Places to Meditate in Poland

10 Places to Meditate in Poland

Tested spots in Poland for a meditation & yoga getaway

Your vacation begins in the mind – we’ve been saying that for years. Of course, we love the ideal conditions: quiet, strawberries with homemade cream, or running barefoot through a meadow. But everything really starts in your head.

So when the team from INTU meditation app asked “hey, how about collaborating?”, we listened closely. Thanks to this chill partnership in our slowhop lives, we have a gift for you: 30 days of free INTU subscription. You’ll get the code with your Slowhop booking confirmation.

And where’s the best place to go when you need those meditation vibes? Here are our 10 picks.

Magda studied minimalism in Japan and brought the theory to life in Grywałd in the Pieniny mountains in southern Poland. On a plot overlooking the Three Crowns peak, she built two cabins filled with harmony, light, and subtle oriental touches. Meditation lovers will especially enjoy the Oki cabin, which has a dedicated practice space in the loft.

“Fantastic spot for relaxation—nestled in beautiful nature, tidy and clean. Tatami has a calming vibe that invites you to disconnect from daily life. For active guests, the Gorce and Pieniny mountains are nearby. The host’s communication was exceptional: we received all the details we needed plus extra tips about the area—definitely a plus!”

Which meditation?

Since couples often visit Tatami, we recommend the “Closeness” meditation by Michał. A perfect way to reconnect in quiet intimacy.

When the hosts describe it as “a place made for meditation, yoga, and gazing out the window,” you know Andrram has to be on this list. At 870 m above sea level in the heart of the Table Mountains in southern Poland, zen takes center stage. Once an old schoolhouse, today it’s an intimate guesthouse where every day feels like Sunday—except in summer, when birdsong takes over the quiet, but who’s to complain?

“It was simply wonderful. You’ve created a beautiful spot, perfect for escaping the noise of everyday life. Lovely rooms, a cozy lounge by the fireplace for evening chats, and a fairy-tale yoga hall with a breathtaking view—especially at sunrise. We must return.”

Which meditation?

Andrram’s calm atmosphere pairs well with the “Center Story” meditation to strengthen your inner voice.

The cuteness factor here is off the charts—everything feels sweet, soft, and green, from the name to the fluffy sheep grazing nearby. Schowanko is an exclusive rental in central Poland. On 17 hectares, you can meditate in the meadow, practice asanas in a barn workshop, or kayak down the winding Warta River. And if you want to truly hide from the world, this is the spot.

“Schowanko is simply awesome—peace, quiet, and nature. The owners are delightful, you can plant an apple tree in the orchard, and the cabin is beautifully and functionally equipped. A walk along the Warta River and sheep-spotting are a must! We loved it and can’t wait to return.”

Which meditation?

At Schowanko, try the “Melting” meditation—relax fully, seated or lying down.

House under the Cranes

15 hectares of calm

Gorzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park—does that ring a bell? No? Maybe the Brynica River Reserve or the Black Bryńsk Reserve? Still blank? Good news: you’re not alone. And as they say, you won’t trample what you don’t know, nor build a fast-food stand there.

That’s why on this 15-hectare plot in the heart of these northern Polish landscapes, it’s just you and a century-old barn turned house. Well, you might catch a glimpse of the hosts now and then.

The setting is perfect for reflection: instead of human neighbors, you have meditation cushions and mats waiting. Expect silence and meadow views, plus optional yoga sessions with singing bowls and gong.

“For the first time, we planned our return trip on the way back home. Five stars aren’t enough. When a listing says it’s at the end of the world or in the middle of nowhere, we usually think it’s marketing. But at the House under the Cranes, it’s the absolute truth! It’s been ages since we enjoyed such space, quiet, and peace.”

Which meditation?

City dwellers sometimes struggle with total silence. Instead of ASMR car horns, try Agata’s “Receiving Peace” meditation under the Sleep category.

Jasmine Hill

For horses & yoga

If we played slowhop charades, Jasmine Hill would be yoga, horses, and mountains. In a 19th-century farmstead between the ranges of the Kłodzko Valley in southwestern Poland, Kasia and Wojtek created a peaceful agritourism retreat. Horses wander under the windows, bees buzz around Wojtek’s hives, and the open yoga hall echoes with gong sounds. You can practice asanas year-round—Kasia is a yoga instructor who offers weekly open classes for guests and locals alike. And when you’re ready to feel the wind in your hair, saddle up for a wild gallop with the jasmine herd.

“Amazing place and wonderful hosts. We spent a lovely weekend with friends, using the cabin and two apartments. All rooms were clean and comfortable. Despite the cold outside, it was warm and cozy inside. The living room easily fit about 15 people. The kitchen had everything for simple meals. The only hiccup was hot water in the bathroom, but the host fixed it immediately. We enjoyed the bonfire, sauna, and hot tub—everything was well prepared. Plus, we went horseback riding with Kasia in the mountains—an incredible experience. Beautiful views and a comfortable ride. This place has soul, and I hope to return one day!”

Which meditation?

If you joined Kasia’s yoga, round off your practice with the “Post-Yoga” meditation to deepen your relaxation. Horse views included.

Soce Homestead

Head to Podlachia

Once in Australia, now in a land of bison, moose, and ancient oaks—this sums up the hosts of Soce Homestead. Monika and Paweł run a welcoming guesthouse in the heart of Podlachia, serving delicious breakfasts and offering serene surroundings. They often host yoga workshops here, though small groups also love the lakeside cabin with sauna. Just imagine stretching by the water at dawn…

“The essence of SLOW! Silence, forest, open space, nature, tastefully arranged grounds and rooms, plus three of the best dogs you’ll ever meet. Perfect for a reset. The charming woodland kitchen deserves special mention: every morning you share a delicious breakfast at a communal table with other guests—a great way to connect across generations :) In the evening, relax by the fireplace. We usually don’t return to the same place, but here we’re making an exception.”

Which meditation?

Be water, my friend—try the “Flexible Path” meditation, especially if you’ve picked the lake-side cabin.

Bird Whispers

Just outside Warsaw

You might not have heard of Głosków, but you can easily reach it from Warsaw by public transport. Rediscover Bird Whispers on 2.5 hectares, where you’ll find an artful house, two ponds, and three friendly cats. Nearby, the hosts recommend forest trails (part of the Warsaw Green Ring), searching for beaver signs, and exploring the Jeziorka River valley. Sounds beaver-ly good.

“We spent a long August weekend at Bird Whispers with friends and it was truly special. The place is charming, full of character, and surrounded by beautiful nature. The owners are kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. It’s the perfect spot—peaceful yet close enough to the city. We’ll definitely be back because Bird Whispers is a real gem!”

Which meditation?

With all that green space, try a “Walking” meditation to bring mindful presence to each step.

Lupine Hill

To the hilltop

Lupine Hill has a few tricks up its sleeve. First, the OM Winter Garden: a year-round glass space overlooking the pond, with comfy mats, meditation cushions, and warm blankets. Second, the “Heaven and Forest” restaurant, exclusive to guests, serving light dishes and Ayurvedic-inspired meals. Third, a natural spa with optional breathwork, yoga sessions on demand, and gong-sound massages. If you want a holistic holiday among like-minded people, look no further.

“Wonderful place—I left so relaxed and amazed at how unhurried everything felt. Beautiful setting, delicious food, great massages, and a very friendly team. I’ll definitely be back.”

Which meditation?

Lupine Hill welcomes families, so try a kids’ meditation like “Clouds” to start learning mindful observation.

Cieńsza Studio

To the studio

Painter and sculptor Henryk Musiałowicz used to meditate daily with walks in the garden of Pracownia Cieńsza. Today, his descendants continue these relaxing traditions across three cottages—Inspirations, Reflections, and the largest Artist’s House—each offering peace and quiet. You’ll find meditation blankets, mats, cushions, and even cards for mindful forest walks. For sound lovers, there are gong concerts.

“Our stay at Pracownia Cieńsza was so delightful, we didn’t want to leave. I haven’t slept so well in years. The cottages are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. You feel the positive energy, and the hosts were a pleasure to deal with. We felt cared for yet had plenty of privacy. The breakfasts—fresh bread, local cheeses, and cold cuts—were delicious and abundant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

Which meditation?

Try the unique “Mindful Eating” meditation during breakfast. Bon appétit!

For years, intimate yoga groups have been coming here—and it’s easy to understand why. At Pine Dream, you’ll take deeper breaths in stages: first, exploring the seasonal barn, then by the pool and tiki bar, then soaking in the pine forest scent, and finally discovering the cozy bedrooms back in the barn. Here, old meets new, far-east meets local, and thoughtful meets spontaneous. Ready?

“Thank you for your hospitality at Pine Dream. The house has a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy warm living room, and a stylish bathroom. There are three well-appointed bedrooms with comfort for everyone. The barn is a magical play space—especially for children, who loved sleeping there and couldn’t tear themselves away from the retro games! The yard is carefully designed, and the attractions made us forget our itinerary—we simply drifted into this raspberry-scented wonderland :) We wholeheartedly recommend these wonderfully relaxing moments at Pine Dream.”

Which meditation?

Best are early-morning sessions when birds launch their wild concerts. Try Michał’s “Morning Option”—ideally in the open-air barn during summer.
