‘We’ve just returned from this beautiful place run by wonderful people 😄. The cabins are so cozy that rainy days didn’t bother us—we sat together by the tiled stove and just chatted. We felt right at home. My husband and I joked we want one of these cabins when we retire 😜. The location is perfect; despite the rain we found a direct path to Lachów Groń, and there’s even a local cheese dispenser we highly recommend 😜. And the food—yes, we never skipped breakfast. Everything was delicious and in such generous portions that we even had leftovers for dinner. Our family of four plus our little dachshund fit perfectly; outside, there’s a space for everyone to hang out, so cabins work great for friends traveling together—each family has privacy but can still spend time together outdoors. Now we’re looking for friends to join us for a May break 🤗. Thanks for everything ❤️’

‘We stayed in the House by the Stream in the Wooden Room. The room was beautiful and easily fit two adults, a three-year-old, and our dog 🙂. The house has a small living area and kitchen, and outside there’s plenty of space for the dog to run and more. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Plus at 11 am there was hot soup ready—perfect with a little one. Great playground and indoor playroom in the dining building. We visited over an August long weekend and it was peaceful and quiet. At night we watched shooting stars—magical 🙂. Highly recommend it and we’ll gladly return.’

We stay in the south but shift the scenery to the Pieniny Mountains, on the border with the Sądecki Beskids. Here, ‘nothing’ really means everything you need: space, mountains, and views that do all the work. Trails begin almost at the doorstep, and ski slopes are nearby. Kids can race around, build snowmen, make forts, and only return when hungry. There are no TVs, trampolines, pools, or organized animations.

‘I highly recommend staying at Jasielnik with Ania and Bogdan. The hosts pay attention to every detail and run the place with heart, which you can feel :) The rooms are nice, the beds comfortable, and the shared lounge with board games makes it easy to relax. Add the stunning surroundings and fresh air inviting you to walk… I was here in winter and it was magical. Certainly recommend!’

The guesthouse in Dobków is a true oasis for families—warm, peaceful, with interiors that feel like home and something delicious always on offer. On-site, there’s a slow-food restaurant featuring local produce, and the area is a perfect base for exploring Lower Silesia. In winter, a ski slope is nearby. Creative workshops take place here, and little ones collect stamps in the Explorer’s Passport of the Land of Extinct Volcanoes.

‘Best place for a family holiday in Poland! I didn’t think it was possible to relax on a trip with kids; here I did in the first hour :) The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained—so much care has gone into every detail. The buildings are spotless, and apartments are cleaned daily, which we didn’t expect. Inside it’s pleasantly cool even on hotter days. There are so many attractions on the property and nearby that it’s hard to choose. Great playground, and the zip line is a perfect touch. The food is delicious, and the staff are wonderful, skilled, and welcoming. We haven’t even left yet, and we’re already planning our return :)) Only minor downsides were the lack of blackout curtains—early morning light woke the kids—and the cold breakfast buffet, which stayed the same daily. Otherwise, it’s perfect!’

Who better to host you than fellow parents who truly love families with children? That’s how this farm stay began. It’s a wooden house with a large veranda and beautiful rooms in the Beskid Niski. Surrounded by a riverside garden, a meadow, and a fire pit that the hosts happily light in the evening. There’s a sauna and hot tub, a spacious workshop area, and wild nature right outside. If you’re lucky, deer might appear on the veranda.

‘We spent a winter break with Sławek that we’ll fondly remember. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Every morning he greeted us with excellent scrambled eggs, at which he’s a master :) Sławek recommended great cross-country ski routes and shared fascinating stories about the area, which is beautiful and perfect for those seeking off-the-beaten-path spots. On snowy days, it was completely quiet around. We loved a trip to the nearby Jasiołka Source Reserve. We were also charmed by Fargo, the dog who loves cuddles, and a group of cats (they live outside—a plus for allergy sufferers). The host’s library is impressive—you’d want to hide here for a month just reading ;) Sławek, thanks for a wonderful week and the birthday pancakes!’
