Dreaming of Thailand? We’ve brought Thailand home. Especially now that Polish summers are getting longer and more humid. Instead of spending hours at the airport and on planes, why not hop in the car and be there in no time? Discover six unique locations in Poland. What do they have in common? They’re all meticulously designed to pamper you. Behind each project is a host as dedicated as the manager of any luxury resort. Whether it’s a guesthouse or a standalone home, it’s more than just a place to stay. It’s a holistic experience for body and soul. From yoga and massages to jacuzzis, five-element cuisine, horseback riding, and self-care workshops—these slow travel gems have it all. Add secluded spots in stunning natural settings, gorgeous gardens, and even private ponds. Thailand is great, but here, our hosts can make you feel like you’re in a five-star hotel.

We knocked hoping they’d let us in, and finally the door opened. Fellow lovers of hidden gems, aficionados of detail, and connoisseurs of quality—this one’s for you. Nestled in Rudawy Landscape Park in southwestern Poland with views of Śnieżka, there’s a house with three apartments, each beautifully styled for two to four guests. Outside you’ll spot horses; inside, enjoy massages, natural bathroom products, and scented linen mists in the bedroom. In summer, the hostess organizes weekend retreats—spiritual moments, gentle movement, some artsy projects, and vegan meals all rolled into one.

This place is like a spa in Ciechocinek, a famous health resort in Poland—minus the eccentric romances and mud baths. Here, healing comes through massage, yoga, and learning the art of true rest. If you wish, you can work with clay, try equine therapy, aromatherapy, and even learn facial massage and self-care techniques. The hostess curates weekends entirely focused on well-being. On top of that, she serves delightful food that perfectly complements the atmosphere. You can’t help but fall in love.
‘Perfect spot if you’re after peace and quiet! I wholeheartedly recommend it—you can really breathe and recharge. And the tasty, homemade dishes are another huge plus. Add the wonderful massages that help you relax; what more could you ask for?’

On the island you can finally get a real sleep—truly a spa-style rest. Ease into the bubbling jacuzzi overlooking the water, clear your mind, and let your body unwind. Invite a therapist for a relaxing or therapeutic massage to make it feel like the best spa in town. Or venture out by your own boat to the far end of the pond, or kayak down the Raba River, which starts just one kilometer away. Only 30 minutes from Kraków, this is an island of pleasure—a small retreat with comfortable interiors, surrounded by greenery and water.
‘The promise of relaxation in nature at a slow pace was absolutely true :) This place charms with its sense of privacy and attractions for both active guests (boat, bikes) and hedonists (jacuzzi, grill). A great spot for a long holiday or a short escape from the city buzz. And we can’t forget the lovely hosts :) We highly recommend it and will definitely return!’

In Radomice near Wleń, within the Bobrza Valley Landscape Park in south-western Poland, Paulina and Sebastian created their own creative village. They say they run workshops on the art of living—because when you’re always chasing something, you never stop to ask what it’s all about. Here, you simply are. The hosts inspire mindful living without veering into the esoteric. They offer fresh, beautiful rooms and comfortable glamping, and their vegan cuisine already has a legend of its own. Plus, Paulina and Sebastian host intimate concerts and share their creative energy. It’s exactly the kind of place that Chelsea from season three of “The White Lotus” would adore.
‘A stunning place, but above all, wonderful people. I felt at home on the island as if we’d known each other forever. Cozy corners, relaxing music in the background, and those breakfasts—I’d drive across Poland for them every day. Big bonus: kid- and dog-friendly. Kids have plenty of space to explore, dogs can run free. All around is peace and quiet—truly an island where you can feel safe. I left mentally refreshed and will definitely be back.’

This spot is Zuzanna’s pride and joy. She’s on hand to lead yoga and cooking workshops, serve guests five-element meals, and share ceremonial cacao. On the forested grounds stand four intimate cottages, alongside a yoga hall and a practice yurt. Zuzanna collaborates with many talented locals who bring their energy and skills. If you crave lazy mornings, aromatic meals, and evenings in a hot outdoor tub, this is the place for you.
‘Thoughtful, welcoming, and an excellent cook. She caters to every guest’s needs with genuine openness. We felt wonderfully cared for—hostess 10/10. The cottages are very comfortable, nestled in a beautiful forest with great walking paths. The highlight for us was the heated outdoor tub. Namaste Jamno is thoughtful, attentive, beautiful, and caring. We highly recommend it!’

This house in Poland truly comes to life when it’s filled with people, making it ideal for anyone seeking an extraordinary group getaway. There are five bedrooms, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub, an outdoor kitchen gazebo, and catering options on request—just a snapshot of the on-site amenities. But the real showstopper is the lush, vibrant garden that the hosts take pride in. If that weren’t enough, there’s even a bathing pond with a boat at its center. Who’s up for a retreat that feels like a home turned luxury resort?
‘What a wonderful place! Spotlessly clean and full of atmosphere. A beautiful estate with a vast, well-kept garden that dazzles day and night, complete with a pond, boat, hydro-massage tub, fully equipped kitchen, hammocks… everything you could wish for to feel relaxed and rejuvenated.’
